Toronto, ON – October 6, 2025 – On September 17, the SFA Saniflo Canada team traded in their office gear for hard hats and hammers to participate in Habitat for Humanity Waterloo’s Team Build Day. The initiative unites corporate and community partners to tackle one of the region’s most pressing challenges, affordable housing.

SFA Saniflo employees joined Habitat construction staff and volunteers on-site at Habitat Waterloo’s newest build location, where future homeowners have invested their time in similar builds to create a safe and stable home for their family. Together, the effort went far beyond building walls, it laid the foundation for a brighter future.

For SFA Saniflo, whose mission is to make homes more functional and accessible through innovative plumbing solutions, the Build Day was a natural extension of the company’s core value of Care. Whether through designing solutions that improve daily living or giving back through hands-on community initiatives, SFA Saniflo demonstrates that Care is more than a principle, it’s action.

“Rolling up our sleeves with Habitat for Humanity Waterloo allowed our team to put our values into action and take part in something truly meaningful,” said Phil Warren, Managing Director SFA Saniflo Canada. “We are proud to support families on their journey toward homeownership and to be part of a community-driven effort that aligns with our belief in making homes safe, accessible, and sustainable for everyone.”

Since 1988, Habitat for Humanity Waterloo has been working to break the cycle of poverty by providing affordable housing solutions in partnership with families, businesses and volunteers. Each build is a powerful reminder that housing stability changes lives, and that when communities unite, they can achieve lasting impact.

“We were thrilled to have SFA Saniflo’s team join us on-site for Build Day,” said Maresa MacAskill, Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region. “Their time and effort help us move closer to our vision of creating safe, affordable housing and giving families in Waterloo Region the opportunity to build a better future.”

By stepping out of the office onto the build site alongside Habitat for Humanity Waterloo, the SFA Saniflo team demonstrated how businesses can make a tangible difference in the lives, and in the strength of entire communities. One home, one family, and one act of Care at a time.
